1. Concept & Principles of Development
- Development is continuous, lifelong, and sequential.
- Development = Physical + Mental + Social + Emotional + Language.
- General → Specific, Head → Foot, Center → Outwards.
- हर बच्चा अपने हिसाब से Develop करता है।
2. Heredity & Environment
- Heredity = Parents से मिलने वाले गुण (IQ, Height, Talent)।
- Environment = घर, स्कूल, समाज, मित्रों का प्रभाव।
- दोनों का संयुक्त असर Development पर पड़ता है।
3. Piaget’s Cognitive Development Theory
- Sensorimotor (0–2 yrs) → Sense, Object permanence।
- Pre-operational (2–7 yrs) → Egocentrism, Language, Imagination।
- Concrete Operational (7–11 yrs) → Logical thinking, Conservation, Classification।
- Formal Operational (11+ yrs) → Abstract, Hypothetical reasoning।
4. Vygotsky’s Socio-Cultural Theory
- Learning = Social process।
- ZPD (Zone of Proximal Development) = बच्चे अकेले नहीं कर सकते पर Teacher की मदद से कर सकते हैं।
